Welcome to the Caring Critters Club
Every child who reads these stories is already a Caring Critter.
When you complete all five stories and earn your paw prints, you become an official Certified Caring Critter — and we celebrate you with a special badge.
Becoming a Caring Critter
The Caring Critters Club is a gentle and joyful place where children learn how to be kind, caring, and confident through stories and lovable animal friends.
Level One is the beginning of a child’s Caring Critter journey. Through five special stories, children learn important life skills that help them understand their emotions, treat others with kindness, and develop self-confidence.
Together, these stories make up The Caring Critters Club – Level One Reading Journey.
How to Become a Certified Caring Critter
Becoming a Caring Critter is simple and meaningful.

A child listens to or reads all five Caring Critters stories
-
After each story, they earn a Caring Critter Paw Print
-
Each paw print is placed on their Caring Critters Certificate

When all five paw prints are filled, the child has completed Level One
At this point, the child becomes a: Certified Caring Critter
Parents or teachers can send in a copy of the completed certificate, and the child will receive their official Caring Critters Club Badge.
What the Level One Badge Means
The Certified Caring Critter Badge is awarded to children who have shown they can listen, learn, and use kind and caring choices.
It means they have learned how to:

The Caring Critters Club – Level Two
Level Two is where Caring Critters begin using their kindness in the real world.
In these stories, children learn that being caring also means being brave, patient, and thoughtful — even when things feel tricky.
By the end of Level Two, children will understand how to:

Solve problems peacefully

Stand up for themselves and others

Keep trying when things are hard

Show kindness in new situations
Just like Level One, Level Two has five special stories.
Each one earns a paw print toward becoming a Brave Caring Critter.
How Level Two Works
A child becomes a Brave Caring Critter when they:
• Listen to or read all five Level Two stories
• Earn one paw print after each story
• Fill all five paw prints on their Level Two certificate
When all five paw prints are filled, they are now a:
Brave Caring Critter
This means they are learning how to use their caring heart even when things feel uncomfortable, scary, or confusing.
Level Two Story Journey

1. Toby the Turtle Takes His Time
Toby learns that going slow is okay — and sometimes the best way to do something right.
Skill learned: Patience & Self-Trust
2. Bailey the Brave Pup
Bailey is afraid to try something new… but learns that being brave doesn’t mean not being scared — it means trying anyway.
Skill learned: Courage
3. Luna Listens with Her Heart
Luna learns how to really listen when someone else is sad or upset.
Skill learned: Empathy
4. Oliver Uses His Words
Oliver feels angry, but instead of yelling, he learns how to talk about his feelings.
Skill learned: Healthy Communication
5. Freddy Fixes a Friendship
Freddy makes a mistake — and learns how to say sorry, forgive, and fix things.

When a child earns their Brave Caring Critter Badge, it means:
